Looking after our resources and managing our environmental impact
To us, sustainability is not solely a management buzzword, it’s about using efficient business practices while limiting our impact on the environment.
For over a decade, we’ve been recognised by private and public sector organisations for the quality of our translation and interpreting services. We recognise that the way we work is important too. Whilst we are a small team, this doesn’t mean we can’t all strive to reduce our impact on the environment and work to become more sustainable every day.
Sustainability is an area in constant development. Our commitment to sustainability and looking after our environment is supported by our leadership team and all our employees. We’ve been working hard to go paperless over the last 12 months, and whilst this is still a work in progress, we’re confident we’ll make it happen before 2024.
Our achievements in sustainability are the result of a committed and innovative leadership team on environmental issues.
We invest in the latest technology, whether that’s our online portal; which provides clients with secure, 24-hour access to our services; or our remote working infrastructure to minimise our carbon footprint when it comes to internal and client meetings. We feel that, because our team come from and live, all over the world, we’re consistently ahead of the curve when it comes to managing and communicating across our business.
We have transparent company policies on sustainability, energy, and climate change, to ensure that our employees understand our positions on a variety of sustainability and human rights issues. However, that’s not everything, dedication to ethical and responsible business practices defines our business identity and approach as a business. Our team work remotely and have done for some time; as linguists from all over the globe, we’ve ensured our systems are digital-first in the way we communicate and share our knowledge and manage our projects so that, collectively, we can reduce our carbon footprint. Our sustainable supply chain activities help our suppliers to work smarter and to reduce their environmental footprint.
