Corporate social responsibility at PAB

Our commitment to our colleagues, clients, and communities

As a team, we come from all over the world, with a wide range of experiences and cultural backgrounds. Something that unites all of us is our commitment to doing our best and adding value to our communities on a daily basis.

From the very beginning, our culture has been to go that one step further; to do more for our clients, colleagues and communities than was expected; to be the best that we can be. We are pleased that our team actively promotes ethical and social responsibility in a variety of ways and we’re always looking to expand this. Our corporate social responsibility policy has a number of strands.

Employee wellbeing

As well as being highly qualified, we only employ friendly, positive professionals who treat our clients and colleagues with respect and share our core values. Alongside this, we are firmly committed to ensuring everyone in our team is respected and encouraged to develop both inside and outside of their work. Our commitments to employee wellbeing and development include:

  • Extensive training and development opportunities for all
  • A 12-month internal training program
  • Greater paid holiday award to recognise dedication and commitment
  • Paid holiday for birthdays
  • Regular personal development and mentoring sessions
  • Profit share bonuses
  • Annual staff surveys
  • Regular “Our People Our Future” teambuilding events and fun away days
  • Extensive two-way internal communications with all our team members having a direct line to the Leadership team
  • We’re proud to be a Living Wage Employer
  • And more.

Supporting our communities

As well as living our values through our work and services, we are committed to a range of charitable activities and provide advice and services for free or at heavily discounted services to charitable and non-profit organisations within our community.

We have developed FREE materials for local Councils, Police Services, children’s centres and retail stores to support communication and cultural awareness, including;

  • Celebrating Cultural and Language Diversity campaign
  • Translation cards
  • International holiday and celebration cards
  • Telephone interpreting services.

Fundraising and charitable activities

We provide a range of ways for staff and clients to raise funds for causes close to their hearts

  • Regular Director’s appeal for donations to support local charities
  • Fundraising activities and events
  • Our Director, Iwona, is a Director of Centrepoint Outreach, which supports vulnerable and homeless young people in Lincolnshire, and we regularly support them with donation drives and fundraising.
