Slovak language is a member of the Indo-European family, West Slavic language group. It is the official language of Slovenia (up to 7 million speakers, including Slovak community abroad).
Generally, two types of Slovak language translation exist - written and oral, which is also known as Interpretation.
The written language translation could be either a certified Slovak translation or a Standard Slovak translation. Certified translation is normally used when dealing with Authorities, Standard translation is the most common and inexpensive.
Slovak Language interpretation is an oral translation. It can be either simultaneous - when the interpreter renders the message in the target-language as quickly as possible, while the source-language speaker continually speaks; or consecutive - the interpreter speaks, after the source-language speaker has finished speaking.
Translations also can be divided by gender i.e. Medical Slovak language translation, Technical Slovak language translation, Legal Slovak language translation, Artistic/Literary Slovak language translation, Slovak translation of documents, Slovak general language translation and etc.
Slovak features an interesting curiosity called rhythmical contraction - this rule says that a long syllable cannot be followed by another long syllable
