Russian is a member of Indo-European family, Slavic language group. It is an official language of Russia but also spoken in all ex-Soviet Union countries (up to 300 million speakers).
Generally, two types of Russian language translations exist - written and oral, which is also known as Interpretation.
The written Russian language translation could be certified Russian translation or Standard Russian translation. Certified translation is normally used when dealing with Authorities, Standard translation is most common and inexpensive.
Russian Language interpretation is an oral translation. It can be either simultaneous - when the interpreter renders the message in the target-language as quickly as possible, while the source-language speaker continually speaks; or consecutive - the interpreter speaks, after the source-language speaker has finished speaking.
Translations also can be divided by gender i.e. Medical Russian language translation, Technical Russian language translation, Legal Russian language translation, Artistic/Literary Russian language translation, Russian translation of documents, Russian general language translation and etc.
