Translation Project Control:

All processes required to fulfil our customer's orders will be carried out under controlled conditions. This will include the provision of appropriate and documented work instructions, monitoring and control.

SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR

Senior coordinator assigns a project management team to each project led by a project coordinator. Project coordinators are required to either be PAB nominated interpreters with BA degree or be BA degree and actively pursuing PAB nominated interpreters certification through course work at PAB Translation Centre. With a consultative, flexible approach, our project management team works together to sort out possible inefficiencies throughout a project's life cycle and share knowledge of the project's intricacies and processes to ensure that the absence of one member does not hinder production.

PROJECTS COORDINATORS

They are responsible for locating the best translators or resources for each project.

PAB Translation Centre actively seeks and recruits for translators who fit the required skill set needed for each project, evaluates their credentials and references, tests their linguistic and subject matter expertise, and enforces processes to ensure their work is continually monitored with feedback and quality scores.

WORKFLOW PROCESS

PAB Translation Centre customizes our clients' project workflow processes according to their needs. Typical workflows include: Quotation, initial translation, review/edit, document processing and formatting, proofing, and a final quality control check.

PAB Translation Centre 5-step quality assurance (QA) process ensures that our clients receive the highest quality output for their technical translations. All projects are sent to a highly qualified native-speaking subject matter expert for the initial translation. After the initial translation is complete, the 5-step QA process begins. The project is sent for review and editing to a subject matter expert in the target language. The initial translator is notified of any questions, omissions, or corrections that alter the meaning of the translation and a dialogue between translator and editor commences until both are satisfied. Documents are then processed by the project coordinator where standard formatting styles are applied, or the document is formatted according to the client's special instructions. The project under goes a final quality control check to verify that all the text is present and all the special instructions have been met.

All documents go through our 5 step quality check which guarantees accuracy and perfection: Once the document has been translated a separate linguist reads the document for:

  1. accuracy, grammar, punctuation, spelling, terminology, omission checks and terminology
  2. numerical values, numbers, dates, tables, charts, characters, names, titles
  3. comments / amendments / corrections (if any is returned to the translator for consideration) and discussed if necessary
  4. The document is returned to the proof-reader for authorisation
  5. The document is re-checked by our project coordinator, printed, and delivered to the client

PAB Translation Centre clients will have their own private and secure client portal for uploading new files, monitoring job progress, and receiving completed files. In addition to these services, clients will be able to track previous job history, invoices, and quotes. Though all work and communication can take place within the portal, clients always have access to their PAB Translation Centre team, including their account manager, project coordinator, and customer service manager.
