Lithuanian is a member of the Indo-European family, eastern Baltic group. It is the official language in Lithuania (up to 4.0 million speakers, including Lithuanian community abroad).
Generally, two types of Lithuanian language translation exist - written and oral, which is also known as Interpretation.
A written Lithuanian language translation could be either a certified Lithuanian translation or a Standard Lithuanian translation. Certified translation is normally used when dealing with Authorities, Standard translation is the most common and inexpensive.
Lithuanian Language interpretation is an oral translation. It can be either simultaneous - when the interpreter renders the message in the target-language as quickly as possible, while the source-language speaker continually speaks; or consecutive - the interpreter speaks, after the source-language speaker has finished speaking.
