The Bulgarian language is a member of the Indo-European family, Eastern South Slavic language group. It is the official language of The Republic of Bulgaria but also spoken in Turkey, Serbia, Greece, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Albania, Kosovo, Republic of Macedonia and among immigrant communities worldwide (up to 12 million Bulgarian speakers).

Generally, two types of Bulgarian language translation exist - written and oral, which is also known as Interpretation.

A written Bulgarian language translation could be either a certified Bulgarian translation or a Standard Bulgarian translation. Certified translation is normally used when dealing with Authorities, Standard translation is the most common and inexpensive.

Bulgarian Language interpretation is an oral translation. It can be either simultaneous - when the interpreter renders the message in the target-language as quickly as possible, while the source-language speaker continually speaks; or consecutive - the interpreter speaks, after the source-language speaker has finished speaking.

Translations also can be divided by gender i.e. Medical Bulgarian language translation, Technical Bulgarian language translation, Legal Bulgarian language translation, Artistic/Literary Bulgarian language translation, Bulgarian translation of documents, Bulgarian general language translation and etc.
